Gold’s Marketplace Adds Esters Neighborhood Pub to a Growing Lineup of Exciting Local Tenants

Wheat Ridge Destination Continues to Expand with Authentic Colorado-Based Retail and Restaurants

Wheat Ridge, CO – June 2, 2021 – Gold’s Marketplace, a vibrant, walkable, and diverse community focused gathering place in Wheat Ridge, Colo. is proud to announce that Ester’s Neighborhood Pub will join its curated collection of tenants, opening Spring 2022.  Esters will take over the former Davies Chuck Wagon Diner space after a full remodel of the space.

“Esters Neighborhood Pub joining the mix at Gold’s Marketplace continues with our goal of transforming this once-dated now fully revitalized shopping center into a gathering place of Coloradans for Coloradans,” says Bobby Ghiselli of Quannah Partners.  “Their other two locations have been successful in their neighborhoods in becoming a great local hang out for all visitors and we are excited to welcome them into our family.”

Gold’s Marketplace will complete major upgrades to the full shopping center in June including a full refresh of the surrounding parking lot, upgrades to the landscaping, new wayfinding throughout and a custom crafted neon project sign that will soon illuminate the bustling center.  Current tenants include a boutique pet supply store Cosmo’s Dog Biscuit Bakery, Guest House, Gratitude Hair Studio and Little Brazil.  It was also recently announced that Queen City Collective Coffee’s will be opening their third location at Gold’s Marketplace alongside this exciting mix.

“On our six-year anniversary of opening our original location in Virginia Village, we are excited to announce our third location in Wheat Ridge at Gold’s Marketplace,” said Paul Sullivan, owner of Esters.  “This diverse, walkable and welcoming community center reflects the energy and neighborhood feel that Esters is a perfect match for, we look forward to contributing to this space as a locally owned, Colorado-proud business.”

Esters was founded in Denver by long-standing Virginia Village residents and craft beer industry employees. Esters OG (Virginia Village) opened in June 2015 and Esters OP (Oneida Park) opened in December 2018.  Esters offers seasonal menus, artisanal pizza, elevated pub fare, and more than 20 rotating craft beer taps, most of which are from Colorado.  Their design of multi-room restaurants offers the choice to catch up over drinks and a pie, cheer on sports teams, hang with the whole family, brunch so hard or enjoy the Colorado sunshine on the (heated, year-round) patios.

“Gold’s Marketplace is really the ‘gateway to Wheat Ridge’ and we wanted this place to honor all that the city has happening,” said Adam Radcliffe, founder of Outpost Investments.  “We’ve begun to gather a collection of tenants that reflect authentic Colorado business owners who will be part of the local community in addition to providing great products and services.”

The 59,000 square foot revitalized public center is nestled between Sloan’s Lake, Edgewater and Applewood with convenient access to I-70, Colfax Ave., US-6 and daily traffic counts in excess of 58,000.  For more information visit www.goldsmarketplace.com.
